Worldwide service and warranty policy in marketing is a crucial aspect of building
customer trust and satisfaction, as it provides assurance to buyers that the
manufacturer will address potential issues with the product within a specified
timeframe and under certain conditions,. This policy is a key selling point, influencing
purchase decisions by mitigating perceived risk and demonstrating the
manufacturer's commitment to product quality.
By understanding it MUSAK derived it warranty and service policy as under.
- The Warranty of the product shall be only with respect to defects of
manufacturing for a period of 24 months from the date on invoicing to end
customer for the Premium Models Only and 12 months for other Models , The
period of 24 months can be as USP (Unique Selling Proposition) which is a
specific factor that differentiates MUSAK product and service from its
competitors.
- MUSAK will focus to appoint its authorised service center at every dealership
areas.
- The warranty does not extend to any damage or wear to the products resulting
from abnormal operating conditions, accident, abuse, misuse , unauthorised
alteration or repair. Further this warranty will not hold if the pump is not used
exclusively for the purpose of pumping clear, cold fresh water and for damages
caused due to slit, excessive and more than permitted level of sand or any
other foreign particles in water.
- The warranty does not hold good if the supply voltage is not within prescribed
range, Further it does not hold good for all electrical components including
burning of electrical winding and capacitors.

The warranty does not cover if the defects caused due to dry running, wrong
relay current setting and failure of any electrical equipments like control
panel.

The warranty does not hold if the pump is operated at load, over and above its
specified range of operation or at a very low head below its specified range.

The warranty shall not cover any of charges including cost of removal,
Installation, Transportation etc.

The scope of warranty shall extend only to the repairing or replacing the
defective parts free of charge , The decision as to whether a part should be
repaired or replaced shall be at the sole discretion of the company, In case of
replacement of parts, The defective part will become property of the company,
The defective pump has to brought to authorised service center or dealer,
warranty card and the document evidencing purchase and failure details to
obtain warranty claim, Failure to present it shall render the warranty claim
invalid.

The liability of the company under the warranty shall not extend to any
incidental or consequential damages, losses of expenses arising out of or in
course of installation, use or any other causes or any claim arising out of fire,
accident, wilful damage, transit damage.

The warranty does not hold good if the serial number is deleted, defaced or
altered.

In case of dispute during the warranty period for establishing the cause of
breakdown, until it is established that it is manufacturing defect, authorised
dealer / service centre will render service and supply spared only of receipt of
payment.

The warranty becomes only valid if the date of purchase is confirmed by the
dealers stamp and signature on the warranty card

In case of any dispute or claims over the terms of this warranty , the decision of
the company shall be final.

The Warranty registration has to be done through online once pump got sold
without fail , Late registration will be not be entertained during warranty
claims and the Product warranty period stands Nil.

Any dispute is subject to Coimbatore jurisdiction, other courts jurisdiction
excluded.
